Week Two, Tip 8: Pay Your Family First

Try to save a certain amount of money each day. Be consistent (even if the amount is small), be proud, put the money away, watch it grow and celebrate the results. When you are creating your budget, allotting money for your bills and calculating your expenses, remember to always save a little bit and pay your family first. Many families and individuals squeeze their budget so tight they leave no room for a monthly savings and emergency deposit. Don’t let yourself be caught with no room if an emergency springs up. Some people find it easiest to create a weekly or monthly automatic deposit into a savings account to get them started. You will build up a great amount of satisfaction from creating a habit of saving, and it will be a great benefit to you in the future. Never forget to pay your family first.
