ARIZONA AICPA Deems New Board Game a Hit to Educate Children on Financial Literacy

Check out this excerpt from the AICPA State Society Communicator. So glad to have this endorsement from such a great group.
Building upon their already successful financial literacy program for children ages six and older that utilizes the board game, Life, staff at the Arizona Society (ASCPA) tested a new board game called ThriveTime for Teens. ThriveTime for Teens, developed by Sharon Lechter, author and financial literacy advocate, is an interactive and family-friendly game that brings a fun approach to helping teenagers learn basic financial skills. The game recreates real-life experiences, such as using credit cards, finding and performing jobs, exploring entrepreneurship, buying cars, managing time, saving money and volunteering. The ASCPA staff found the game to be fun and beneficial and will let members who inquire about financial literacy resources for teens know that ThriveTime is another valuable tool for reaching a teen audience.
